In our process, we vacuum first.  Most people don't realize that most of what is in your carpet is loose and can be removed easily with a good vacuum cleaning.    We do this very simple step to allow our solution to work on only what is in the fibers of your carpet.  Then we spray our solution on your carpet and let it soak.  This allows the solution to do its job. ( some companies put it directly into their machines so it is applied and immediately taken back out with no rinsing and no time to soak into the fiber of the carpet.  This leaves dirt attracting residue in your carpet.)  Next we agitate the carpet with a long handled brush to loosen the soil in the fibers.  Last we start our truckmount machine and rinse your carpet with hot water and a ph balancing solution leaving your carpet clean and residue free.

Answer:  Clean carpet is carpet that is residue free.  If the solution is not applied separately  then there is  solution left in the fibers that will leave you with clean shoes and dirty carpet.  If this is not for you,  Please give us a call.
